When this line first came out it was 9.5 and I thought its was low now with All-Am WR Sammy Watkins out the line dropped to 7.The disparity bwt. these two teams is big. The Tigers have a prolific offense, last week vs. FSU (which has a very good "D" ) they racked up 426 yards.! Even with Watkins out and also back up WR Martavis Byant out ( both also return kicks) Clemson is still a very good team. BC is not a good team, scoring only 27 pts. vs Maine and vs Northwestern had only 25 rushing yards on 20 carries. The Eagles are very one-dimensional ranking 16th in passing and 114th in rushing.!! So why side with BC.? Well a few things: While Clemson had a very hard road game vs FSU and now back on the road for another Conf. game will they lose focus.? BC did have a bye week and should be better prep'd. Over the years much more talented Tigers have struggled with BC, esp. at Chestnut Hill. Having said all this for me it mainly comes down to one thing and that is the line.!! Even with Sammy out all one has to do is to lay 7 to bet Clemson.? As I have said before the books know more than us and I am on the Eagles here.!!..................gl...........an y other thoughts out there.?

I haven't been to hot lately with college this year which is unusual but I was looking at that today and I think bc +7 is a solid play. 80 percent of the action is on Clemson and the line is dropping and that caught my eye but that was before I knew Watkins was out. I prob won't bet it but I think bc is a solid playComment -

This looks like the biggest trap of all time yet I just can't see it. BC is not very good and Clemson plays very good early in the season. Even without Watkins this team is stacked with fast athletes. I don't see BC covering 7, maybe 10 was possible but I really can't imagine a close one unless Matt Ryan dons the Eagles unis again.Comment -

I believe Clem is for real They won all their games easily until Fl St who did not respect them until the second half. Still Clemson held good to a strong Fl team. BC hasn't played any strong teams and still lost all except Maine as 23.5 fav. Clemson is -7 is a lock for me.
