NIU @ Ball St. Will Be Over 47.5, and Why???
Tonite Ball St. will face the most solid defense team in this season. However, Nate Davis is explosive this year. I expect to be a close game, and it will be an over 47.5 based on the follows:

_Last season, average point scored per game:
    NIU 19.1
    Ball St. 31.5
_This season, average point scored per game:
    NIU 24.4
    Ball St. 37.5
    _Last recent meeting on 11/04/2007
    Ball St. 27-NIU 21

If we total point score per game this season 24.4 + 37.5= 61.9,
then over 47.5 is a safe best. Good luck to all!

I am not a person to bash someone for a pick and I am definitely not saying I completely disagree with the pick BUT your reasoning for the pick is completely shit....

Dont you think the books know what they average? You're looking solely at OFFENSE... did you see the defenses on average are only giving up 13 and 15 points respectively????

This game could go over, but I actually see BSU shutting down NIU to under 13 points...

        GL!

            Themajormt,

Thanks for your input. Hope that you could help me to find a better way to calculate. However, this is my way and I like to keep it simple by not calculating on point allowed (defense) since the average point scored has already implied point allowed. For example, let say NIU only score 9 points against TENN ( good defense team), but score 48 point against IndST which is a terrible defense team... that how NIU come up with average point scored 24.4 which implies the denfense on average you meant Good luck bro

I got this game capped at 31-24 with Ball State winning for what it's worth. These overs always come down to whether or not teams settle for fg's or score td's. I'm on this over, I think they go over 50 here.

I to am on this Over. The last 4 seasons, these 2 have averaged 53 ppg..with the LOWEST being 48..I like the trends on this. Not to mention, Ball State has an explosive offense, and I don't think NIU will be able to keep up, so I am taking Ball State..Also like Akron and the Over..GL with your plays..
