LOVE FLORIDA STATE -17 at SOUTH FLORIDA
I really like this game, as South Florida has problems on offense to begin with, then going on the outstanding defense of Florida State. It would not be a surprise if Florida State shuts them out. Anyone care to share input on this game?

That's a nice pick. FSU is going to score. Skip Holtz may not be the man in South Florida.

BJ Daniels is a coach killer.

Skip Holtz had two good QB's while @ ECU, and scored competently. BJ Daniels has such a low IQ, and awareness not allowing him to make any type of adjustments in game.

I went to the rutgers game and watched daniels head the whole time. he never looks to his sides to read blitzes, so he misses so many easy chances to get a receiver down the field with a big play off a screen pass. Daniels is the type of QB who only has 2 options in his mind. he is either going to run, which is usually his favorite option, or he is going to throw it to one receiver no matter what. He never looks around the field to see what is going on around him.

Goodluck to you on FSU -17.
USF is desperate and at home playing another in state team.
In state games always have a tendacy to burn you.

USF plays their home games at raymond james stadium. There will be more FSU fans there. I am going to the game.

I love these posters that comment about giving up 17 points on the road, as it is not a matter of the points you are giving up, but the competition that made the gambling houses set the line in this case at 17.

Pick seems to easy but I hate betting with the public.. We should easily win by 3 TD's which is why this line confuses me. Trap game?

No trap game when it is two Florida teams playing each other.

Last I counted USF had over 14 players shunned @ the last moment by FSU before signing day several years ago. USF is also full of athletes who were directly recruited by FSU, but chose USF because they knew they had a better chance to start@ USF. USF suffers from sub-par coaching and this is what's holding them back, not on field talent. Holtz will eventually get it together (I am being an optimist)
Some of these kids are related on opposite teams and played at rival high schools. These factors are often overlooked and are more commonly known as "intangibles" and the #1 reason people loose that "it should have been a lock" etc.
would it surprise me that FSU covers?...no, would I be surprised that they SU loose to USF?...Heck no.
I've played @ a very competitive level, and I know very well about intangibles and what so called "experts" know dog crap about and is the reason why locks don't workout and instate games are chalk full of intangibles you would never understand.
I took the time to help you not berate your bet, I hope you take it as friendly advice.
                        Goodluck either way.

So what exactly are you trying to say? That USF can recruit at the same level as FSU? lol gtfoh
I agree somewhat with certain points you made, but the main difference is the talent & speed FSU has on the field and of course as you stated superb coaching that will outmatch USF. The only chance USF has to cover is if Florida State comes riding in high off their big W against Clemson. Normally games like this have bite us in the a$$ the past couple of years, but I have faith that Jimbo will have these boys ready and they will roll
