    But if you are hedging out the last leg of $50 parlays that pay $1,100 and at the same time throwing down $12,000 on single fights, that's not a rational, consistent approach to risk taking.

    Hedging out those tiny parlays is something I would only recommend to like a poor college kid for whom $1,100 is a ton of money.

    At the same time, throwing $12,000 on single events is something that can only be recommended to a serious professional or a whale.

    So which are you? Poor college kid or pro/whale?

    In your last post, you portray yourself to be a pro/whale. Good for you! Now stop hedging out your tiny parlays like a chump.

    Maybe I shouldn’t hedge, but I’m a cheap rooster_eater. It’s +EV in the long run. Nickel/Diming works for me, but I will also go nut$o on Jones, Mayweather, Patriots....

    If I get to another 10Teamer last leg Jones .09/6.44BTC, I will “hedge” by fading Jones to cover my initial $1,000 stake. Probably $200/$1,000 given the crazy odds his opponents receive. This tactic creates a free roll of +$0 or +$59,800.

    Or maybe I had a bad month and fade Jones with $10,000/$50,000 to create a +$50,000 either way, no matter who TF wins...
