I followed it fairly closely not hard enough on Woodley tho... I need to set a unit too I guess to get more calculated

lol that's basically saying he wants to fight someone over the hill and hold his belt for at least one more fight.

i don't think woodley can beat thompson. thompson will just point fight him for 5 rounds and woodley will gas by the the 4th round.

Twood would absolutely mop the floor with Diaz unless he got tired and got subbed but I doubt it, that would be almost the worst style matchup possible for Diaz. Even for GSP I don't see that going well , Rory McDonald must be praying Woodley wins and he gets to fight him after that because he faired well against him the first time. Woodley wants an easy big money fight can't blame the dude he's been out 500 days and has a family I won't hate on that , but wonderboy deserves the title beating Hendricks then McDonald is automatic title shot imo

nick and gsp have no chance vs woodley at this point in their careers. i don't blame woodley for wanting an easy fight while getting paid. he waited a long time to get the belt. let the guy enjoy it for at least couple more fights.

Completely agree I'd do the same in the situation who wouldn't want an easier fight for a bigger payday ? But I see the UFC giving him wonderboy .. Gonna be a crazy fight imo he matches up best against wonderboy in the entire division , the people who will give Woodley problems are Rory , wonderboy in a tough matchup , I think Carlos condit can give him a super tough fight as well the first fight didn't go great for condit but I think it would be different if they rematched . Woodley destroys Diaz, GSP, Maia , brown , magny all day

Even if Woodley took him down a bunch he would get tired. His game is so based on explosive speed and power that he can't go five hard rounds. If you even look at his 3-round fights he loses almost all the third rounds and it follows that he wouldn't regain his pace in the later rounds.

If it was a 5-rounder I'd consider it but Rumble showed in the Phil Davis fight that he can go at least 3-hard rounds and put up consistent output without getting tired. Not sure how I'll play that one yet although there are a few facts I'm taking into consideration:
Johnson's 21 Wins come from 15 KO's, 0 Submissions, 6 Decisions: His Losses are 1 KO, 4 Submissions, 0 Decisions
Glover's 24 Wins come from 15 KO's, 7 Submissions, 3 Decisions: His Losses are 1 KO, 0 Submissions, 3 Decisions

Note: More attention should be paid to Johnson's UFC record in the Light Heavyweight division since he actually fought a bunch of bouts at Welterweight.

Johnson's KO loss was due to an eye injury. He seems to have a solid chin
Glover's KO loss was in his first pro bout in 2002. He also seems to have a solid chin although he has never fought someone with Rumble's power
Rumble

Submission defense seems to be a weakness for Rumble so I'll be looking for the Glover Sub line around (+750). I still have some tape to watch but the fact that Rumble is 6-0 going to decision and Glover is 3-3 makes me wonder if Rumble Decision (+436) has some value as well.

I really did have the golden touch with this event last night.. We all have one of these nights once in a while.. It's fun when that happens...

Hitting those last 3 dogs at $500 each a pop really did the trick on all my books..... I was up on the card even before these last 3 fights started as well..

I usually risk around $500 or so for each of the final 2 or 3 fights with every card but with hedge play and what not.. This go around I just went for it with the dog straights and that's it. I didn't get cute.. It paid off tremendously..

I honestly figured 2 of 3 would hit and I'd win money with that but to my surprise all 3 dogs hit..

I really raped all my books last night, no lie.... $3500 x 8 accounts on average..
