    Anyone bought Bitcoins from simple-btc.com?

Placed an order since August 3rd. Since it was my first order they mention it will take 3-4 days for verification. Have been 11 days now and haven't received my coins yet.

The site seems legit and they have a U.S address which is a good sign. I like that they accept PayPal. Have you tried contacting them? I would like to try this place but 11days seems like a long time. Let me know if transaction goes through.

They were responding back pretty quick in the beginning, 1 or 2 days for an e-mail response. Haven't got a response from them for 4 or 5 days now. Their headquarters based in DC happens to be close to where I work, so if they don't respond to my e-mails, I can pay them a visit (if that is their real address).

That's great you work near them. You never know though that could be a fake address. I have actually seen places do that before. To be honest I really don't trust many of these Bitcoin places. I think half of them are scams. I found a site the other day that said they buy gift cards for 90 cents on the dollar. I was going to use them but glad I did a little research and it turns out not one person has received any bitcoins from them. They had a live chat and everything it seemed legit at first.

I paid them with Paypal, if I do not receive my coins I could get my funds back through PayPal.

That's good. I forgot about that. I don't get these places though. You would think they would do things faster to build up customers. I was going to try this place but after hearing your story probably not. So they just lost a customer because of their laziness. These places have horrible business people running them. I don't get it.

I bought $300, july 24th, before the split. it never came although the Simple NYC PayPal transaction went through to an individual named Allison Klocko. I'm filing a police report. I complained to PayPal since its claims to be a partner site but they gave me no satisfaction.

They confirm the payment almost right away after you send it. I am starting to think this might be a scam. Sbrxx, did you click on cancel order? I cancelled but it says will take couple days for refunds, lets wait and see. Will file dispute with Paypal next week if not resolved.

Try filing a claim with the better business bureau. They have helped me get money back several times when I got ripped off by businesses or banks.

So even after you cancel you have not received your refund? File a charge back with your bank or credit card used on paypal.

Not surprised to hear that. Paypal dispute resolution is ridiculous. I have heard many stories of obvious scam situations where they dont uphold the dispute.

Good move. BBB is great. They should be able to get your money back. It may take a few weeks though. You might need to file a police report in the state where this company is out of though. I think you could do it online also. Not sure. Also if company doesn't respond to BBB file one against PayPal also they will definitely respond. PayPal screwed me out of money once and BBB got it back for me.
