Thursday play: Philly vs. Houston ALL IN?
I want to go big on this but why is a surging Philly team ONLY -139? I know the Astros are at home with Harrell one of the better guys that got but still...it's the friggin ASTROS.

Honestly the only time I wouldn't touch a Astros home game is with Norris on the mound but for some reason Lyles has been the one with success the past few games hes started. Harrell on the other hand hasn't been pitching that great as of late.

    PHI -139 with Cloyd

thinking of throwing 8U I won with the Giants the past 2 days on this game. Some one talk me out of it or give me a reason not to go that big?

I agree the phillies are rockin right now, but you shouldn't expect them to "get things done" straightforward in Houston. They had shitty games when nobody was expecting them to, all season long. I got burned myself 2 times and ever since they are on a "no-no" hall of fame along with the Pirates. And Houston played some decent baseball before the Cubbies reprise. So good luck with this.

I´m going big with them today. Astros are terrible, if they manage to win today then tomorrow I´ll eat the chalk double the bet and get back my money with Hamels on the mound, there is no way Astros win 2 games in a row.

Dont go all in. Bet half your roll today and the other half tomorrow if they lose tonight.

Harrell is no joke guys. I have my own Astros fadingsystem and one of the rules is to not fade with Harrell on the mound. Cloud is unpredictable and I could see the Steps having the advantage on the mound. We all know what the Stros did to Cueto. I have no action on it so good luck. Bet half your roll and if it bricks wait till Hammers pitches and double back up.

Because with every phillies win, the chances increase that their long win streak will end

It's about 90% because of the pitching match up. Regardless, the Phillies are hot and the Astros have some awful bats. I think Phillies is the call, but not all in by any means.

Given most of the Astros have been in the minors within the last year, is there a chance they've seen Cloyd in the minors? Takes a little research but might be worth it. Played that angle last September with some success with so many rookies playing at this point in the season.

O.K.. I'll say it. You guys are probably going to torch me but whatever... Astros clearly have the advantage on the mound. Harrell has proven himself, his last two appearances he beat the Reds, he has the experience. Cloyd has pitched 3 games and his last game he got blown out by Colorado. 4 runs in 4 innings and the he got the hook. You don't bet your roll on a rookie that just got pounded by the Rockies with the opposing pitcher shutting down the Reds in his last 2.

Just my opinion guys. BOL whatever you decide to do.

I agree with you Mantle, but being a hardcore Phillies fan I wil be betting a decent amont today providing that if I lose then tomorrow I will double the bet with Hamels on the mound. Astros are not going to win two in a row.

If Phillies a such faves why getting +120 on RL, Cubs covered RL in 2 wins last series w/ Houston. I really liked that +120 last night, now +110. Something doesnt add up for me but I think a little on `Stros ML is worth a dabble if I were to play. Pitching goes to Houston but the bats are too cold for me to play, I will take Indians on ML instead.

welp gave up a 3 run homer to the Astros. let's see what happens now...

Mantle, I appreciate your insight. your posts are always constructive and points make sense. I remember you also saying you would not fade Norris at home too. Anyways, it is what it is at this point...let's hope Philly bats heat up and hold on
