I watched Rob Cano actually try and catch a BoSox batter who slipped and started to fall down (I forget who) as he slid into 2B right after he drilled a clutch 2 out RBI double in the 8th to make the score 5-3 and thought to myself that Cano is more suited for the the Cubs/Mariners rivalry given his overall compete level and killer instinct.

It seems like just yesterday that these teams actually and geniunely hated each other. Now Jeter blows kisses to every Red Sox batter that reaches 2B, smiling and breaking into jovial conversation as they await the next pitch, Big Papi is like Ghandi during BP, hugging every Yankee Player that approaches him.

Fellas - can't you at least fake it for the fans who actually still give a damn about the rivalry??
