    M. Scherzer 15-6, 3.85 ERA @ G. Floyd 9-9, 4.55 ERA

Chi Sox's skipper Robin Ventura is bringing Gavin Floyd back at the perfect time, needing a victory to extend the current 2 game lead over the Tigers. Detroit's bats (besides last night) have been struggling as they have lost 8 of their last 13. Averaging on 3 runs per contest, and now they are facing Mr Floyd who is 1-0 w/ 1.38 ERA against the Tigers this season. Gavin is also 3-1 w/ 2.98 ERA @ home against the Tigers is his 9 outings against them.

I know Max Scherzer has been really good as of late, but he's 0-2 w/ 5.63 ERA is in last 3 outings @ Cellular Field.

I'll take the value with the dog here and expect the Sox to extend their division lead as the Tigers continue to struggle.

          P. Maholm 12-9, 3.67 ERA @ Y. Gallardo 14-8, 3.76 ERA

This one is simple, Brew Crew have won their last 8 with YG on the mound and they should make it 9 here. They won 17 of 22 overall and w/ their ace on the hill @ home to sweep a team they are chasing is a perfect spot for a terrific effort from YG. Gallardo is 3-1 with a 1.91 ERA in six starts against Atlanta, going 2-0 with a 0.81 ERA in three at home.

Maholm (12-9, 3.67), though, is 1-10 with a 5.37 ERA in his last 18 starts against the Brewers, including five straight losing decisions over his past seven matchups. The left-hander will be facing an offense that is averaging 6.0 runs and batting .287 with 35 homers over the last 22 games.

Lets get the sweep over the braves in this spot...
