LT Profit you've been in the game long enough to know that streaks are meant to be broken. The odd makers aren't favorite Lil' Romero because he's the worse pitcher in the league, in fact they have the same information you lay-out in your article therefore look for Toronto to WIN more times then not in this situation. Today is the DAY that you CAP THE LINES and NOT THE STATS. The same could be said for the TB/BAL game tonioght, its all a head spin for the books. Their capping the winners for you.....now just play'em!

No such things as "due", always go for the value. You will be better off in the long run.

LT, you've been hovering in the +30 to +40 units for over a month. You've actually regressed. I see your picks day in and day out and most of the time you take dogs. Yea, there might be some value in some of them but in the long run you're just standing still. You're a columnist and you're 30 games over .500 with over 600 games played. You're making pennies on the dollar. Time to change strategy bro.

Never used the word "due" in my reply, but I see how you came to that conclusion since i stated "that streaks are meant to be broken". In fact I wasn't even looking at this as a "due" stand point, more so then why so much or why even favorite at all. Just note; the books are not giving away free money here pal.
Edit: LT really...you used the word "value" in the same sentence as Millwood and line movement in favorite of TOR. there are some people that actually get it....LT and I would be one of them.

Dude, LT has been solid, and so have you, but last time I saw you post, you got blown out of the gym with 3 money line huge favs and lost them all, plus you parlayed and did them run line too. Point being, unless you got a better strategy, don't throw stones from glass houses. Just saying

Yes I stopped posting. Doesn't mean I stopped playing. I've made more in the last two days than LT is positive for the year. And yes, I do have a better strategy because I don't always go for "value". I'm not dissing LT. I'm just saying he should think outside the box once in a while.

how 'bout you post your next 600 plays and see how many games over .500 you're DOWN and how many cents on the dollar you're DOWN ...i'm assuming you'll pan out to be one of the non-elite 95% of the players in this game...
but if you actually come out "a few cents on the dollar" (aka. a 2% yield or better)...you'll realize just how valuable and rare a guy like LTA is...cuz that's pennies on the $$played (not on the starting account size as many "innumerate" talking-heads assume)...a month of six $100 plays a day is 18,000 bet...at LTA's long-term 5% yield (aka. 5 pennies on the dollar) is average up 900 bucks (not a bad return on the 4,000 account that'd make each play 2.5% of the bank, as LTA plays it)
averaging just 3 pennies on the dollar, long term...is like hitting .300 long term in baseball
i'm waiting for your thread...i'll even help if you have trouble calculating/interpreting those pesky performance numbers

Highly doubtful, considering Ive more that doubled my baseball bankroll over the course of the season. Remember that I bet 2.5% of my BR on at least 95% of my plays (closer to 99% in MLB). The timing of the units doesn't matter so I would be at the same point now that I would be if I had won 8 units each month. Was my bankroll frontloaded, absolutely. Have I given back a chunk of my profit since my insane highwater mark, sure. But would anyone be happy more than doubling their roll over the full course of the season?

I did have my own thread. Hit 65 percent on about 200 posted plays and profited over $5 gs since April until 2 weeks ago. I did a separate thread where I did wagers on high amounts and profited 4gs in 2 weeks last month. Thanks anyways.

Don't get too caught up on ROI% or even win%, the only thing that matters is gross profit. Larger volume will naturally yield a lower ROI.

200 plays is nothing. I could hit 65% on flipping coins at that number. Hit 65% on 100,000 plays then you can brag. Talk to some online poker players about determining if you are a good player after 200 all ins.

one of the worst posts ever. +20 units is a solid season. +30 to 40 units for a baseball season is great work. Lt mentioned that he plays 2.5% of his bankroll each play which means he has just about doubled his bankroll.

Also, with respect to actual profit, LT has stated before that for grading purposes, all "minus money" bets are to win one unit, and "plus money" bets are to risk one unit. However, he's also noted and recommended that ALL bets actually be wagered to WIN one unit, which increases the actual profit cleared by a bettor who tends to play a good number of dogs.
