Halladay on the mound today he has had cincys number except a below average start in Philadelphia a few weeks ago vs reds. Mike leake can be up or down, can't really trust him. Votto back in lineup but he will be a bit rusty especially facing Doc. Didi g is making his MLB debut and Navarro is catching, these should be weaker spots in the reds lineup. Just need Roy to go 8 innings in this game. Can't turn it over to the pen early.

Halladay's ERA over 4 now. Gave up 5 runs and 10 hits in his last start vs. Cincy on Aug. 20. 30 hits and 14 ER allowed in his last 25.2 IP. Leake is unpredictable, but Halladay hasn't been much better.Comment -
I trust Roy way more than I trust leake. Roy is a ground ball pitcher. Perfect for gabp. His last outing he even said he wasn't feeling to good the night before and sure enough he had a bad outing.Comment -
