Tonight, (gulp!), I actually like the Stros at +1.5.

I notice you have an affinity for parlays. Personally, I limit exposure by making single plays. That and the option to simply 'pass' is my form of safety net.

I know that doesn't answer your question and I'm not trying to come across as snarky. However, it's no coincidence that teasers are called just that; and it's no coincidence that parlay payouts are so tempting.

Just a lean at this moment with the Stros +1.5. I don't know what scares me more: Zito or the Stros.

For the better part of July (and part of August) I was an Astros odds-whore, takin them night after night and of course gettin' clobbered.

To lay $1.60 on the road with Zito and a slightly-better-than avg SFG Offense isn't even a smart play (in my opinion) but I did it anyway.

That's how bad Hou is.

^^^Yes, Hous is awful in an epic way and Zito isn't blind and deaf to all the criticisms thrown at him. If he loses to the Stros, his stock will never recover with SF front office (not that it currently has much of a chance). So he has that to light a fire under his a55 and get the W.

guys, Zito's been pitching good as of late. I'd tread carefully backing the Stros even at +1.5. Remember, they are the Astros, even a 8-0 lead is not safe with them and their reliefs.
