    Monday MLB Handicapper Report - 8/20
    Washington Nationals
    -Won 22 of their last 29 games
    -Scored at least five runs in nine of 12 games against the Braves this season
    -The Nationals are 8-4 against the Braves this year, including a 3-3 record at home
    -SP Jordan Zimmerman hasn’t faced the Braves since May 12, 2011, fanning a career-high 11 batters
    -Zimmerman is 6-2 with a 2.08 ERA in 12 starts since June 1
    -Zimmerman leads baseball with a .143 opposing BA with RISP


    Philadelphia Phillies
    -Picked up their sixth shutout in their last 19 games
    -Since the All-Star break, starting rotation has a 3.45 ERA, which ranks fourth-lowest in the NL
    -Gone 9-4 in its last 13 home games (7-9-2 overall in home series)
    -Won 11 of their last 12 games against the Reds, including a 7-1 mark at CBP
    -Gone 20-9 all-time against the Reds at CBP
    -The NL Central is the only division in which the Phillies have posted an above-.500 record (19-10)
    -SP Roy Halladay has posted a 1.64 ERA and .145 opponents BA over his last three starts
    -Halladay has yet to record a decision in two starts against the Reds at CBP (1.69 ERA)


    New York Yankees
    -The Yankees are 27-12 in series openers, the best winning percentage (.692) in the majors
    -Third baseman are batting .353 with seven HRs in replacement of A-Rod since July 25
    -Closer Rafael Soriano has converted 31-of-33 save chances this year, including 15 straight
    -Won six straight games at U.S. Cellular Field, their longest winning streak in Chicago since 1978
    -SP Freddy Garcia has lost four of his last five decisions against the White Sox, going 1-4 with a 6.34 ERA since 2002
    -Garcia has allowed opponents to hit .192 (10-for-52) with RISP since May 2


    New York Mets
    -The Mets are 11-24 since the All-Star break (2-10 at home)
    -SP R.A. Dickey ranks in the top five in all three NL triple crown categories (W, ERA, K)
    -Dickey was handed a 6-5 home loss to the Rockies in his only career start against them on 4/14/11 (6.1 IP, 5 ER)


    Chicago White Sox
    -Gone 48-34 (.585) since May 17, the second-best record in the AL (Yankees, 52-32)
    -The White Sox are 2-13-1 in their last 16 season matchups with the Yankees
    -Won 15 of their last 20 home games, but have lost six straight at home against the Yankees (48-21 margin)
    -SP Gavin Floyd is 3-0 with a 2.78 ERA in his last five home starts
    -Floyd has held opponents to a .088 average with RISP over his last eight starts

    Miami Marlins

    -In 11 series since the All-Star break, the Reds are 9-1-1 with four series sweeps
    -The Reds are 18-37 against the Phillies since 2003

    Minnesota Twins
    -The Twins are 8-19 against AL West teams this year

    Tampa Bay Rays
