Another good situation for a hefty spot bet. Its been a few weeks since my last big spot bet but I think this play sets up nice enough to make a post about it.
Its hard to argue with the nats and how well they have been playing. On the surface the nats +115ish seems like a solid dog play vs anyone. But not in this spot!
Stats show the nats should regress after being labeled by many as the best team in baseball, and I think they come up short tonight
Miley is a flat out stud! and pitches his ass off. The pitching match up is completely one sided in my opinion with miley going against jackson. Jackson has been pitching well of late but going into the desert I like my odds with miley
Laying the small price here and taking arizona
Arizona should get a few runs early and tack on a few late. I look for a 6-1 6-2 ish type ballgame
I wouldn't complain if Arizona threw up a 10 spot though.
Also zona came back home last night and lost 9-1 to the same nats (nats came from houston and zona came home after a road trip) I was rooting for wash last night as it sets this bet up even better for saturday. Strasburg is a flat out stud and kept zona to 3 hits. Zona should be ready to light up a much weaker pitcher with jackson.
