    i tend to think the athletics really are pretenders but im shocked the pirates are still getting no respect.

        by the way i hope youre aware the cincinnati reds had the easiest post-all star break schedule of any team in the majors, i wouldnt expect them to keep up this hot streak.

          Oakland 4th best pitching, 3rd best bullpen. Hitting not the best, but red-hot right now and probably the most clutch hitting.

            Outside of this red hot July the A's are having, I believe they averaged 3.7 runs/game which was the worst in the majors and had the worst batting average as well. They will come back to Earth, no way in hell they are a top 5 team.

                  Rodney Dangerfields of baseball! I like these teams they have heart and are fun to watch. Most important they don't use a bankroll to stockpile all-stars to try and buy a championship.
