MLB Prop of the Day - 7/27

I was busy handicapping Friday night's game between the Washington Nationals and Milwaukee Brewers - when I came across some great information to play a first-inning prop

• Nationals SP Ross Detwiler hasn't allowed a first-inning run in 10 consecutive starts - actually has the best ERA of any left-handed pitcher in the National League that has made at least 10 starts
• Brewers SP Mike Fiers hasn't allowed a first-inning run in any of his nine starts this year (four hits allowed)
• Fiers has never faced the Nationals (lineup is unfamiliar with him)

I'd take a hard look at playing NO first-inning run scored at Miller Park

Didn't get that far, but I can tell you the top three teams in scoring first-inning runs

Cardinals (78)
Rockies (77)
Yankees (77)

New York has scored in the first inning in five of six games against Boston this year
