However, they are playing the Royals so not tonight. Since the 2011 season, the Mariners are 15-5 following a loss when Vargas starts coming off a more than 100 pitch game. This situation is 7-1 this year, taking down the likes of TX, LAA on the road and Det at home. Similar, since the 2011 season, the Mariners are 13-5 following a loss when Vargas starts coming off a quality start. This situation is 8-1 this year
