Look at the cards horrible numbers last night.LA should have won that game, even tho i was on the cards.

Today will be diffrent.LA will plate those runs and the cardinals will continue to not hit the ball.

Although Jeff he hasnt played them this year, Capuano has almost entirely stopped using his slider and got a little curveball he started throwing this year that can be attributed to his better performance this year. I still dont like Capuano in this spot because he doesnt perform well in 2nd half of the season, and I like St. Louis bats against any mediocre-tier left handed pitcher....

Not only can the Cards rake lefties, Westbrook will make the Dodgers his very own meat puppets.

Westbrook is a very reliable starter, and I like this too.

I've watched quite a few of Capuano's starts this year - being in Southern California - he's been very lucky this year

Dodgers. Capuano lucky? Actually he's been one of the Dodgers most consistent pitchers this season. I doubt Kemp goes 0-5 today and Han Ram had an impressive first day yesterday in Dodger blue.

                            How lame is that statement.

1)Not hitting last night has no correlation to this afternoons game.

2)So after playing a 4 hour game against the same Card team last night, you are saying the Dodgers will wake up for this game, and the Cards won't set the alarm and sleep all day? Is that your point?

                                                And here comes the hook.
Don't wake the Cards up, they are sleeping.

OK, I'm done being an a-hole, my point is one game has no bearing on the next, how many times you see a team get 14 runs one game, just to get shutout on 3 hits the very next game.

Best of luck on all you plays Bradley, I still love you.

Seriously, I was just pointing out his statement was soft. It's not like I wanted his puppy dog dead or something. We love Bradley.
It's OK Brad, you thought you saw value in Cappy at + money, took a shot, it went south, my Astro dog bet went south too earlier this week, happens.
No need to get the panties in a wad over a pretty harmless statement of mine.

also the statement you made steve was quite rational, and I believe it is true. that if a team isnt hitting well a night before doesnt effect a good hitting team / doesnt help predict if a team is gonna hit/not hit
