Stephen Strasburg and the Washington Nationals Versus Jeremy Hefner and the NY Mets

After taking the last two games from the Mets with Zimmerman and Gonzalez on the mound, I look for Strasburg to dominate in a day game that will complete the sweep on the NY Mets. The Nationals have lost 4 out of the last 5 games Strasburg has pitched, including one where they were up 9-0 and Stras ended up with a ND. I think the team bounces back for Stras today and helps him pick up his 11th victory of the season.

Jeremy Hefner comes in just 1-3 on the season with a 5.85 ERA against a hot Nationals team who will be looking to make him pay. Sorry for the quick write up as I have been very busy this morning.. Here are my plays below:

Funny how 5Dimes -1 for Nats is -144, and -1 for SF is -137.

When ML for Nats is -175 and ML for SF is -195.

Shouldn't those lines be reversed?

riffraff, look at who is at home and who is away. SF gets one less inning to cover the RL if they are already winning (by 1), and if they are behind, the game ends if they win by 1. This corresponds to more risk and a "better" line built into the price. Baseball lines are always like this.

I played the -1.5 small just incase, i've been burned a few times lately in the late innings. Hopefully it cashes though. Liking Gio on Sunday vs. Greinke and the Brewers as well, he should be even money, maybe small dog.

Clippard, Stammen are actually my favorite out of the pen.. Gorzelanny, Rodriguez, Gonzalez have not been as reliable as of late. Rodriguez is always a threat with at 100 MPH fastball though lol

They are gonna end up with Bryce in Center, Werth in right, Morse in left.. I actually really like Bernadina as a CF for this team, not as big of a hitting threat as Bryce but hell of a fielder.. Nats lineup gonna be scary in the coming weeks, can't wait til Desmond gets back too!
