Washington Nationals (S. Strasburg) vs. New York Mets (J. Hefner)
Strasburg coming off of a shit game in Atlanta, but we know he's tough as fuk. Mets bats have gone to shit... their pitchers are getting injured.. Hefner is one of their below average bullpen pitchers stepping up in the rotation.. their bullpen is pretty bad. Strasburg I am sure wants to have a good game, as most ace pitchers try to do after getting hit hard. I like a small play on Nats ML (-170)... drink a little juice, it's sometimes good for you.
Chicago Cubs (R. Dempster) vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (K. Correia)
Dempster got tagged a bit in his last outting, but the Pirates bats seem to be cooling down. I like taking the more seasoned pitcher at + money Chicago Cubs ML (+111) in helping his team pull out a third W in Pittsburgh.
Philadelphia Phillies (V. Worley) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (M. Estrada)
Jeeze, how many more games can the Brewers bullpen blow? Phillies survived the worst possibly situations heading into the 8th and 9th innings with the Brewers and prevailed each time. The Brewers bullpen just doesn't have an answer for Phillies bats. Worley is solid when he needs to be, and if Phillies survived Greinke's solid performance, I think they will close out the Brewers in dominant fashion in the early game. Remember, having Howard and Utley backs adds that homerun/double power that was lacking for much of the season. Hopefully they straighten their shit over there. I like a play on Phillies ML (-130)... although possible small play on RL +155... I am only a little scared because the last two games Phillies won by 1 run.
Los Angeles Angels (J. Weaver) vs. Kansas City Royals (L. Hochevar)
Play the ML on the Angels at your own risk, or go smaller on the RL. But I like Angels winning at home with Weaver on the mound. The bats have been somewhat quiet the last two days, and I see them lighting it up tomorrow. Angels ML (-243), or RL (-110).
Also liking the Braves... but on the fence about laying the hammer at the moment.
