I'm looking @ their schedule and do not see a situation that will lead them to being the favored team until a home stand vs the Cubs on Sept 10. Their front office has quit, and is thinking about winning 5 years from now. Their lineup is full of guys who have flamed out with other teams, and are in the league only b/c they play for the Astros. The pitching has fallen apart with guys like Norris, and Wandy being as productive has they have been in recent years. With the recent trade of their best bullpen arms, its time to find creative ways to fade them.

I'm going to TRACK a Martingale FADE vs the Astros until the end of the season. Pinnacles closer will be used to track the oppsing teams odds.

I retract my guess. I didn't know Houston would go this far. They are truly an AAA team.

What's funny is I watched an Astros game last week and one of the announcers kept going on about how the Astros are still good because all the players are major leaguers. They made it to the big leagues.

That's because it's not a meritocracy! If it were, Houston would've been demoted to AAA, where they belong. This is what happens when you put a bunch of minor leaguers who either stink or are not ready in the majors.

Armando Galarraga is starting games for them.

I wouldn't even want him on my AAA team, to be honest.

Dallas Keuchel? Jordan Lyles? Lyles wasn't even good in the minor leagues.
