Sometimes its the opposite, team might be down on themselves for not pulling it out yesterday. And with Verlander on the mound, you might subconsciously "slack off" against an inferior team on a travel day. So more emphasis on Verlander, and I dont think hes shown me enough lately that hes worth the juice on the road. Definitely a no play! Maybe take a shot with the Orioles but while I cant bet on Verlander today, I certainly cant bet against him.
