I don't know if the younger guys are familiar with this, but I know a few reputable locals who still use a line of 1-1½ runs or 1½-2 runs when a strong team with a strong pitcher is going against a poor team. For example, Friday night the SF Giants were 1-1½ runs over Houston (Giants are -1½ runs [lay 11-10] over Houston +1 run [lay 11-10]). Does anyone see their locals using such lines? I would appreciate your input.
