Yep. Hate Boston with a passion. Thats also because I am a Yanks fan. But I disagree Ryan. I think TB wins it all.

Those long layoffs don't seem to do the teams well, why so sure Ryan?

Where's Boston going?
That you waited until mere seconds after TB recorded the final out to start this thread is pretty funny.
Listen, any neutral baseball absolutely should have been rooting for the Rays in this series. It's just an amazing story. But the hate for a Boston team that's been so clutch and does everything the right way is ridiculous.
As for Phils/Rays, Philly better win both of Hamels' starts if they're to have a realistic chance, and that TB just beat Lester twice will give them plenty of confidence they can do the same against Hamels.

Between the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox I'm glad they are coming down to earth (pending the Celtics). I was on New England over load.

I'm definitely taking the Phils in game 1. Hamels is a beast and a lefty. They will probably send kazmir to the mound. Pound the phils.

hammels is better than lester
and if hammels is a dog, than i may pound it for 25 units.
i dont think the layoff hurts them. these teams are very very very evenly matched. i think phils win hammels starts, thats for sure. not sure whow ins the series at all.

This is the best NL champion I have seen in a while. I think the AL gets it handed to them this year.
Here's my comparison of the two teams: Rays
Defense: A+
Offense: B
Starting Pitching: B+/A-
Bullpen: A-
Phillies Defense: A
Offense: A-
Starting Pitching: A-
Bullpen: A
Phils win this. Better pen, better offense. Starting pitching is better imo. The only decisive advantage the Rays have besides homefield is defense.
These are the 4 man rotations:
Rays: Garza, Shields, Kazmir, Sonnanstine
Phils: Hamels, Myers, Blanton, Moyer

I wasn't planning on hedging my Phils +770 until at least after Game 2, but now CW is tempting me by hanging Rays -115 series price.
Bastages!

hey Ryan, thanks for coming to my thread and letting me know that Boston lost last night like I didn't already know that. I love how proud of yourself, you get when you are right.
Did you hear anything from me when you dropped the "Game of the Year" in game 6 on those Rays? No, and I certainly didn't hear you chattering too much after that game, nope, just when you are right do you make 3 different threads and post 100 times in other people's threads just so someone might notice that you were on the right side when everyone else moves on and is handicapping their next game you are still chattering away.

secondly, i went out to watch the game
thirdly, sbr was down all day
foruth you called a 7 game series over after 1 game, you clearly dont understand baseball
