Their offense isn't shitty anymore and that's where the value lies. People still believe
A) Their offense sucks; and
B) DBacks have the better offense
Both are not true, SD definitely has the offensive edge. Pitching wise, Marquis has turned it around big time with SD, pitching like an ace. Obviously, he's not this good but if you believe in his turn around there's even more value in the line. As it is, I think there's inherent value in any Padres' game line and team total for a while until people start realizing this offense is actually pretty good. For example, the Padres' TT on pinny is o3.5 -114 for an above average offense in a very good hitter's park against an ~average starting pitcher and above average bullpen."Things happen for a reason, they say, but I say there's a reason things happen"

In this scenario we have a decidely below average offense in a big pitcher's park against an above average starting pitcher and below average bullpen.
