I don't think Minaya will get a chance to get Manny. Manny is gonna stay in LA. He seems to love the city and the city loves him. He batted .396 and the Dodgers don't mind spending mad money on players. He will be a Dodger next year for sure.

Sabathia will also be a Dodger in my opinion. I think the Dodgers will give him the best offer since they need him most. Sabathia can hit and pitch, so it is most likely that he stays in the NL. The Yanks are aiming to stay young. While Sabathia may be young, Cashman realizes he may not be the best fit for NY and is depreciating from all the complete games he keeps pitching. The biggest market NL team that needs starting pitching is the Dodgers. Billingsley is good, but Lowe is very inconsistent and Kuroda can only pitch at home. Maddux is also a little iffy and old. Colletti is going to want to bring in a dominant lefty like CC to try to get back to the playoffs.

Krod is earning 10 million right now. While he holds the record for most saves in a season, im just not sure he would get a 17 million offer. He's a closer, not a starting pitcher. The Mets seem like the most likely team to get him, since they are in desperate need of a good pen and are a big market team. He's also hispanic, so Minaya will definitely want him. But over 15 million in a bad economy for a pitcher who isn't even that great seems a little ridiculous. He always comes close to blowing saves. I say he gets 12.5 million from the Mets.
