Gallardo and Collmenter and The Brewers and Dbacks have both been struggling but Collmenter has really been getting lit up, an ERA of around 9.

I dont like betting against Bedard, he is not as bad this year as his record might indicate but he looked pretty poor against Philly and is not getting any younger. He has had some rough starts here lately against Baltimore as well (he is 0-4 with a 9.47 ERA in his last four on the road) and the Pirates dont have Mccutchen today. Westbrook has had a few really strong outings here lately but has some really poor numbers against the Pirates, I dont see the cards getting swept today but we will see.

That should say Collmenter has an ERA of over 9 in his starts this season

I am actually going against two pitchers I usually have won alot of money on, Vargas and Bedard. 2 solid pitchers who have played on bad baseball teams most of their careers, ( excepting for bedards short stint with Red sox), Vargas rarely gets run support but he really seems to have alot of problems this year. Some of the worst flyball numbers in the mlb and is giving up a ton of hits and home runs (he has given up a home run in each of his last 8 starts), an ERA of over 7 in his last 3 starts and 4.54 ERA for the season.

I would normally hit the over as Doubront has pretty poor numbers but getting a he is getting a ton of run support but the Mariners have all of 8 runs in their last 6 games despite last nights torrential onslaught of 3 runs. Red sox certainly capable of taking Vargas out of the park today so sticking with this boston tt
