    Houston Astros
    -The Astros swept the Cubs in a three-game series earlier this year, outscoring them by a 15-5 margin
    -Starting rotation has posted a combined 2.01 ERA since June 17, which leads the majors, White Sox (2.21) and Athletics (2.24)
    -Hit 12 HR and 12 doubles over the last six games

    Some good numbers there, might want to add in Houston is only 9-25 on the road this year though

      -Tigers 3B Miguel Cabrera is batting .342 with nine HR and 40 RBI over his last 46 games

      -SP Justin Verlander has won his last three starts, posting a 1.88 ERA

          Does the blue translate that what has been said is good for tigers or cubs?...those tailing you jeff like me, may know baseball but only watch a few games..but like a true tailer bet on the games..so in this instance is the blue writing for or against tigers?..basically what are u trying to infer?

            Interesting stats, but I seriously doubt you can blame Verlander's poor start solely on the umpire. I wouldn't back the Rays on that alone. Tigers bats are hot while the Rays are asleep. Took Det -115. Good luck.

              Highlighted in blue items are things that I find to be significant when handicapping the game

              Cleveland Indians
              -Cleveland improved to 19-7 in series openers with last night’s win
              -Home runs have accounted for 35 percent of the team’s runs this year, fifth-fewest in the league
              -The Indians are 3-8 against AL East teams this year
              -SP Derek Lowe will be facing the Orioles for the first time since 6/14/09, going 8-5 with a 4.06 ERA in 16 career starts, including a 4-2 mark and 4.50 ERA in seven starts at Camden Yards
              -Lowe has taken the loss in each of his last four road starts (9.45 ERA)
              -Manager Manny Acta held a closed-door meeting prior to Thursday’s game
              -The Indians are 6-8 as a road underdog of +125 to +150 (7-6 over)

                  Davidson is w/o a doubt the worst most inconsistent umpire in baseball, imho you can absolutely contribute his issues that day to the man behind the plate..
