Gallardo is good, and he can hit
Latos has been awful, reds need 5 strong (unlikely)

At 1st glance I kinda like it! Brewers have been hitting well lately and giving run support (except today) despite getting 8 hits they managed to score a donut. Reds been a little cold lately at the plate themselves. Looks like a live dog to me! However I imagine a better line tomorrow with the pub most likely hitting the Reds fairly hard.

Not sure about this one yet 'Bawks but Latos is 2nd in the league in giving up home runs this year. The over at 9 seems tempting, but ******* totals in baseball.... Might be a slug fest.

the 'in depth' look you provided is impeccable. Brewers are the play though.

But you didn't mention whether Latos could hit.

excellent chart, except cinci has scored a total of 3 runs in their last 2 meetings with Gallardo, who is hot as hell right now

I thought you already acknowledged how useless these charts are?

Votto is a career .320 hitter. Him hitting .348 isn't off from his career, especially when you consider that 1 less hit means he's only hitting .304.

Rolen went 4-8 in 2010, 0-5 since. Plus he's hardly the same hitter now.

                      Janish doesn't play.

Bruce has 2 HR's and 6 K's in 20 AB's. That leaves 12 balls in play against Gallardo and he has 7 singles for a BABIP of .583. his 6 K's in 21 PA's is similar to his career numbers (averages 5 K's per 21 PAs). His BB% 1 in 21 is similar to career (1 BB per 10 PA). Not sure how that's "owning."

The Brewers lost a 0-1 game in extra innings yesterday. They can't score.

I'd be weary of this pick.
