This team is just lost. No defense, no middle relief, no speed and now they can't hit either. Getting shut down by Abe Lincoln. Scherzer with one of his infamous "I'm cruising along and then all of a sudden I give up 3-5 runs in 10 minutes" performances. I'm at the end of my rope watching this team and trying to be a fan. f\*\*k you Leyland. f\*\*k you Dombrowski.

For as "good" as their offense is supposed to be, they have three MLB hitters. Cabrera, Fielder and Jackson. That's pretty much it. Guys like Santiago, Raburn, Worth, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc. are a joke. Lineup is full of holes. Delmon and Peralta have been below average. Boesch has a hole in his swing.
Lincoln has given up 13 ER in his last 11.1 IP as a starter, yet the Tigers are making him look like fvcking Cy Young.Comment -

6 of the 9 batters are just embarrassing. I mean, I never expected Peralta or even Avila to do what they did last year, but they aren't doing anything at all...and the rest of the guys are backups on other teams. Delmon Young is just cringe worthy...swinging at 90% of the first pitches and never makes contact.
Yea, the Prince signing made everybody way over hype this team after they over achieved last season. If they can get the role players to step up the bats they'll be alright but this late in the season...they are just lucky they're in the worst division in baseball.Comment -
