I still think White Sox were the best play of the day. They win that like 8-1 the majority of the time. That's a very powerful offense shut down by a bunch of mediocre pitchers in a sandbox with the wind gusting out.

I don't think the Sox are a great team, but they do have a very good offense that is especially powerful at home and Peavy is a stud (he was near perfect in this game giving up only 1 unearned run and 1 earned run)


I think the Sox will finish a little over .500 mainly because they have horrible starting pitching outside of Peavy and maybe Chris Sale. I'll take their offense against a bad pitcher at home any day of the week
