The line is not out on this game but I like the dodgers in this game.
-Phillies have won blanton's last 5 starts in a row. Blanton has won his last 2 road starts. Of those 5 starts, Blanton defeated the brewers twice and the marlins twice. I would bet against an average pitcher who has won 5 straight starts.
-Derrick Lowe is at his best at home and in night games. Lowe is 9-5 (17 starts) at home with 2.30 era, 0.93 whip, .206 BA. In 117.1 innings, Lowe has allowed 88 hits, 30 runs, 21 walks, 83 K's and only 6 homeruns. THose numbers are even better in night games at dodger stadium. Lowe's numbers would have been better if the dodgers had given him run support earlier in the season. After the dodgers got Manny, Lowe was lights out.
