I did TEX/STL/NYY/DET 3 team round robin and said screw the RL. I have been screwed over WAY too many times playing the RL. It doesn't pay as much as a 4 team parlay but its easier to hit and I am just happy with making some $. GL tonight!

So the Cards came up big for us yesterday and the question for today is will they cover the increased 4.5 Team Total today? My answer is YES they will.

Make no mistake, the increased .5 run is a key number for team totals. That's the reason why we waited for the lineups to be confirmed today and BELTRAN is indeed playing. Even if he wasnt playing, I believe Freese, Craig, and Molina are potent enough to scratch out 5 runs. With the added big bat of Beltran, a nice Friday night crowd, and weather conditions conducive for runs, the Cards will get us at least 5 runs to cash our ticket. You can also add a play on Lohse -190 , however I see better value in the -120 Team Total line.

Mazzaro has been sporadic for KC this year. His inconsistency, limited innings experience, and a heavy ST LOUIS crowd will spell doom for KC's pitcher tonight.

There's a parlay that I included in here but your bankroll should be on the play of the day.

All over this play MDF...... also all over texas over 2.5hrs +100 . Houston throwing jordan lyles to the mound. Texas has lit him up big in the past. I look for texas to catch fire here. Houston is the worst team in the NL for giving up hits..... Texas is the best team in the AL9.8 hits per game. I believe Tex will hit 3 easy on there own tonight!

Well guys looks like we notched our first loss in a while. Sorry for anyone that lost tonight. We ended up going 22-4 this week. It's been an amazing run ....pounded the books from a $200 deposit to an amazing $12,000 as it stands today. I will be booking the profits here and taking the next few weeks off.

Regardless of what the non gambling public thinks, in the long term, there is some skill to this hobby or profession we call capping. Ultimately, the main component to be successful is to have love for the game. SBR has some great cappers here, I'm sure you'll be in good hands. I'll still be dropping in here and there to comment or offer any helpful insight in these two sports that I truly love baseball and tennis.

I'll be back next month to start another POUND THE BOOOKS thread and we'll do it again in JULY!!
