The Return of Cy-K Matsuzaka tomorrow.
Gio makes his return to the AL, the AL East in particular i.e. the home of the best offenses in baseball. I believe he'll be making his next 3 starts against AL East teams. Interesting to see what he can do against line-ups with a DH instead of a Pitcher.

My book has both teams @ -105. I don't know much about the Nationals as I don't follow them much but with Gio being a lefty I'm fairly certain Gonzalez will play RF and Middlebrooks will be in the line-up for the Sox. So as per the other games where Middlebrooks was in the line-up I'd expect the Sox price to go towards -110 when the line-ups are released.

    Who do we like here?

I personally witnessed his last two starts in Pawtucket and he was god-awful.
I'm concerned about Geo today, Ortiz and Youkilis have smashed him in the past,

but I'm on Washington today, but I'm not going to pay over –110

Matzuwalkya finds his gyro ball and the Sox drum up a win here, but not pretty. Good luck!

i believe the last one was awful because he was aware he was being activated for the red sox afterward, and was on a 50-pitch limit. the start before that he gave up 1 hit in 5 innings? is there anything inherently wrong? ive been hearing reports that he managed to hit 94mph on the gun in the last start

I went to the game knowing that I was either going to bet on him or against him and I definitely going against him today.
In his last start he was lifted in the second inning after throwing 40 pitches.

He just doesn't look good his pitches did not have any movement plus he looked nervous.
Just remember Gio was in the AL and did not walk but ran to the NL.

could say that about a lot of #5 starters.

Thats another reason, actually. Kershaw was a free game to the public, I took it as bait. When is -118 ever a good line for kernshaw? Obviously, the public would jump on the dodgers in that spot. It's just the oddsmakers giving out a win so the public will continue jumping on lines like.... gio gonzalez at -105. you know the oddsmakers aren't gonna give out two freebies

Just wait and watch. 70% of people on the nationals, yet line not moving. It's a lock.

Aren't you the guy that said the thunder had no chance? I said thunder would cruise 3 and 4? spurs, heat finals? keep laughing. It's not just that the line isin't moving, it's the general line in the first place. Who wouldn't take gio gonzalez 7-2 against matzuzaka in his first game coming back to the mlb. It's gotta be bait, but i also think oddsmakers know the outcome of scores before the game is actually played. That's how I bet.
