Don't know a ton about him but I believe that was after a poor start in a game I took the O's so from what I have seen he is a model of inconsistency.

Looking back it was a game against Oakland at a point when they were hitting quite poorly if I recall. He didn't have as bad of a game as I thought but considering the way Oakland was hitting at the time it was even worse. After that NY start he got shellacked in his next 2 and has had little success since.
