Had a good night so I'll throw 1/3 a unit on this.
Pays a little over 5 to 1.

Just so everyone knows. This post was Brahma questioning why BigD didn't go with Big Time Timmy Jim because he "owns the Padres".

Wll Brahama, I have hit 6 NBA plays in a row, two of which were underdogs on the ML and I'm 3-1 in bases tonight. I'm not full of shit either as all of my plays are posted.
As for my parlay, so far....
2-1 Angles
4-0 Padres
2-0 Texas

Brahma you have to learn man. When things look too good to be true there might be a reason. Timmy with that little of juice is for a reason. He has been a shell of his former self this season. Not that it is an auto fade but has to make you delve deeper...

I was more fading san diego than anything. The Padres offense has been putrid recenetly
Fair point though

So why do you think they were near even money against the red hot Giants and their ace pitcher?
Vegas is Vegas for a reason. They're smarter than you and me. Just accept it.

Then why did you doubt my play?
You contradict yourself too much. All in on Spurs/Heat finals.
Then all-in on OKC game 6 to close out the series.

Mainly cause giants have been playing well and padres have been struggling. I thought Lincecum would begin to figure things out but I was wrong though

Yeah, this is why I don't put a lot on these parlays. Normally I would have just bet the Padres. This just gave me a lot better odds.

Basically I parlayed two square plays with the play I initially wanted to make on San Diego.
I didn't figure Texas and the Angels would lose two nights in a row to Oakland and Seattle.
It doesn't always work out this way but I felt the odds were good enough to do a parlay here.

Parlay angels and rangers again tomorrow. I think they're much safer bets than even the game today

I don't like laying juice with Colby Lewis on the road and I don't like trying to put the same two teams in parlays two nights in a row.
I might parlay an ugly dog with the Angels though.

Main reason I like the rangers tomorrow is because baseball is a game of runs. Teams go on big losing and winning streaks all the time. You gotta buy low and sell high like in the stock market - as in get off a team when they look like they're about to hit a cold streak and get on a team when they look like they're about to get on a hot streak
Rangers just got done with a streak where they lost something like 6 out of 8 games, now they face a mediocre pitcher and a team that has really been struggling. Just smells like another easy Rangers win here and I'd take them in game 4 as well. Colby Lewis has pitched very well this year BTW. Just some bad luck (his BB to K ratio and whip has been excellent)

I'm taking Oakland.
How are they struggling? Didn't they just beat Texas 12-1?
Texas is going through the motions. They were a little more focused tonight after losing last night but we will see about tomorrow.

Oakland's 2-10 last 12 games. I think they were overachieving early in the season, this is about an 85-90 loss team
Rangers are 8-4 last 12 games against Oakland and Colon simply does not have good enough stuff to get by good offenses anymore. He got lit up by both the Yankees and Angels fairly recently. Also agreed on Rangers not playing well but great teams like the Rangers don't struggle for too long. Their losing stretches are usually no more than 6-8 games and they look like they broke out of it tonight
I'm definitely "buying low" with the Rangers
