    -San Francisco starting pitchers have gone seven straight games in pitching seven or more innings while allowing two or fewer runs
    -Phillies closer Jonathon Papelbon is 15 for 15 in save opportunities
    -Colorado snapped a five-game losing streak to Arizona at Chase Field last night
    -Seattle has scored 55 runs in its last eight games


    Pittsburgh Pirates at Cincinnati Reds
    -Pirates SP A.J. Burnett is 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA in his last three games against the Reds
    -Cincinnati has hit 20 home runs in winning seven of its last eight home games
    -Reds SP Homer Bailey is 6-0 with a 1.79 ERA against the Pirates
    -Reds 1B Joey Votto is 19 for 33 (.576) during a 10-game hitting streak
    -Pittsburgh OF Andrew McCutchen is one home run shy of becoming the third player in the majors with at least 10 HRs and 10 SBs
    -Burnett has gone 0-3 with a 7.89 ERA in four career starts in Cincinnati
    -The Pirates are 6-4 as a road underdog of +125 to +150 this year, while the UNDER is 7-3 in that situation
    -The Reds are 0-2 as a home favorite of -150 to -175 this season


    Be careful in backing the Reds here, as Burnett has solid numbers when facing current members of their lineup

          -Young is 3-1 with a 2.63 ERA in six starts against the Nationals, winning both decisions in three visits to Washington
          -The Mets have lost six of seven games to the Nationals, including two of three at home in hitting just .181 and scoring six runs
          -Nationals SP Jordan Zimmerman has received just 1.39 runs of support in going 0-3 with a 3.34 ERA in five home starts

            Would like to add that the Indians are batting a league-worst .214 vs left handed pitchers this season. This could probably be attributed that the Indians have a league-leading 1336 ABs from the left side. But here's the catch... Smyly pitches worse against lefties (.292 vs .239 righties)

            staying out of this one haha

            edit: the indians are much better hitters on the road than home as well...

              Los Angeles Dodgers at Philadelphia Phillies
              -Phillies SP Cliff Lee has won his last eight June starts, producing a 0.65 ERA over that span. The left-hander is 14-2 with a major league-best 2.49 ERA in the month since 2008
              -Lee is 2-0 with a 0.40 ERA in three career starts versus the Dodgers
              -Dodgers SP Chad Billingsley has posted a 2.42 ERA in four career starts at Citizens Bank Park
              -Lee was 0-1 with a 3.71 ERA in May, while Billingsley was 0-3 with a 5.52 ERA during the same span
