Two plays that have caught my eye for Friday
StL -105 at NYM: Johan has been admittedly outstanding this season given the low expectations, but Waino's starting to really round into shape. He's looked very sharp in his last two outings and I think the trend will continue against the Mets. Cards have been very good against lefties. I think you get Wainwright at a sneaky low price that simply won't be there two months from now.

LAA +112 vs. TEX: Despite the loss to the Yankees on Wednesday, I'll take the red-hot Angels with a + number at home thank you very much. Jerome Williams isn't a world beater, and I know the Rangers have beat him up in the past, but I think I'll still roll the dice with the home squad in a very big series opener for them.

I expect Texas to bounce back after that embarrassing loss to Seattle .

The other game is a coin flip IMO .

N.C. i know you are busy, but if you can find time
i opened a thread "bet like your next meal depends on it"
it is stricty for fun, i will tabulate winners and results and we would
love to see you throw a bet in. Either of these two would do. Thanks

            Love St. Louis tomorrow.

Not sure I want to bet against Tejas though considering what happened to them the last couple games.

              Cards

Yanks/tigers over - wind blowing out at comerica, both teams hitting, new meat MLB debut for detroit and he is a lefty. yanks love that. tigers hit cc well.

rangers/angels over....their will be a minimum of 4 bombs in this game.

How can we not take the rockies again? dodgers cant hit. Capuano is good but rockies are mashing. Told Wandy to take the day off after like 4 innings

love both these plays, was already on the cardinals and im leaning angels but havent looked into williams numbers yet. unfortunately the one thing going against us is the cards are better against rightys than leftys and the mets are almost a run per game better against rightys.

wainwright has a ridiculous 1.31 era in his last 3 starts.

interesting fact about jerome williams: he has the highest quality start percentage of anyone in the AL. 8 starts 7 quality starts.

I already see colby lewis giving up 3 home runs in the first inning. How the hell is he gonna get Pujols and Trumbo out? It is just a bad matchup for both pitchers. Jerome Williams had to come in relief a couple weeks ago for CJ Wilson after a rain delay where CJ didn't come back out. You can read about it here.

you cant pay too much attention to that relief appearance by williams, not enough time to warm up/prepare. starters generally struggle if theyre forced into a relief appearance.

the rangers were on top of the world at the time, hamilton had just come off his 4HR game and the angels were last in the division.

Angels Bullpen has been on fire for the past two weeks.

Highest rated Bullpen in the majors by far.

Texas early on looking to run away with the division and now Angels lead the West by the AS break, imo...and with the way the East and the Central are shaping up, well TX may be on the outside looking in come Oct.

Aroldis chapman and the Cincinnati reds would have something to say about that

I liked Atlanta, Seattle and Minnesota as well last night, but holy line movement. Missed good numbers there so I'll probably have to pass.

BOL with your plays. (and nice to see another who takes line movements into consideration instead of blindly ignoring what can potentially be helpful information)

                                      I actually like Twins tonight.

actually, the Rangers are notorious non-performers following a bad loss. They are 11-21 since 2010 following a game where they allow 9 or more runs, (0-2, this year) and 4-12 allowing 11 or more.

I have a serious question. When you are betting twenty dollars on a baseball game.. does getting a line of + 120 instead of + 130 really make you not bet a game or ..?
