that all being said Im getting raped in baseball lately......monday-tuesday went 0-6......taking a lil break, might pick a game a day if something really stands out but not putting much time into handicapping....all the free time I got that I put towards capping is going towards COLLEGE FOOTBALL/NFL......pacocn/derty d/marktx/allure/ some of the other regulars. you guys dabble in college football or nfl? we need to make a thread, although I dont believe taking only 1 bet a day in colllege football/nfl is the way to go with the schedule...

Yeah can't wait for football Smut. Would love to have a thread for it - I still think the value in this thread is getting different minds coming up with their strongest play.... so we should probably stick with something similar but I'll leave that up to pacocn. We'll still end up with a basket of picks but you are right that the schedule means that we should probably limit our picks to Saturdays and Sundays when the card is largest. No point in having all of us pick a side on a Monday night game....lol.

This may be foolhardy but ... despite how bad they are hitting I just am having a hard time imaging them not being able to get 5 or 6 off Sanchez and Vogelsong with 5/6.

ya lets just have a thread where we keep all the regulars records/ I will be happy to do it.....maybe do a 3 meals a day bet/ breakfast/lunch/and dinner? I dunno, would like to hear what pacocn, king of value threads has to say,

college football is my specialty....unlike baseball I can pick more than few games a day and hit them at quite high frequency.....although theres no proof of it (except my word and my local books word) I had one saturday I texted him 8 picks for $100, and went 8 for 8....was disgustingly awesome....actually my bookie was a good friend of mine, and after that saturday he paid me, and asked me politely to start using online books....lol....

also, working on tallying up everyones totals, got about 10days left in july....will get done in by end of weekend, I promise.....

would def join a ncaaf/nfl thread. i'd say nfl is "my thing" (two years ago it was mlb, getting buried nowadays though) and i usually hit my nfl plays as i just play 1-3 (max) bets per week. same goes for the ncaaf. wouldn't say i know much about college football, so i just play a few bets per week in college football just based on line movement/ line setting etc
usually have 1-2 plays a week, so very selective but it works for me this way. if i only could be as selective in baseball.
