Never bet the Under when the jet stream is in effect. It was 21/22 mph and we got 17 runs on Friday...that was with Morrow the hottest pitcher in baseball at the time and Holland. Rangers are also very familiar with Vargas

That's ok, total is down to 9.5 so I feel good about my play. This could be an audition start for Vargas so he should bring his "A" game. He deserves a much better record given his peripheral stats, but that also makes him a good Under guy.

Can't argue with that or your 30+ units of profit. Still i live in Dallas and have seen the 'jet stream' kill much better pitchers than Vargas so it's probably a no bet for me

I meant he will have ADDED motivation knowing that he will be pitching for a contender soon as long as he keeps throwing well. And he has not done badly in his last three starts at Texas, allowed four runs once (which should count as a Quality Start given the Texas lineup ) and a total of three earned runs in the other two starts combined. Is the wind tonight any more pronounced than last night? Because Millwood looked good against them before the pen blowed up. (still only 4-2 final).

No clue, when I go to yesterday's game and click on Weather, I am seeing TONIGHT's forecast. Anyhow, simple fact that line is holding 9.5 is a good sign, although obviously will not know for sure until closing line.
