I'm on the D'Bags. Betting is virtually split, and SF actually opened as a fave before Arizona was hammered.

On the Dback. Seems Cahill found his grove last outing against the Dodgers, minus the bullpen collapse(Thank god I had the dodgers in that game). I expect a solid outing from Cahill and wouldn't doubt it if the Dbacks T up on overpaid Zito.

So of course, the Giants get 3 in the 1st.

Good start, however, Zito is still pitching so this is far from over.

Zito always pitches like Koufax when I fade him.

SF opens at -107, closes at +110 (including being +105 within 8 minutes of the opening number) and is up 4-0. Go figure.

Yeah, too much love for the Diamond backs here. It seemed like a coinflip game but when I got the home team at +109, I figured it was worth it to play them.
I didn't see anyone on the Giants here.

That's probably because you have to be insane to back Zito in his current form -- but of course, he's Houdini today.
FTR, I'm seeing more bets on the Giants than the D'Bags.

I hate Houston. They totally
Just blew the game. They walk a guy with two outs.
Then a routine grounder is hit to shortstop and instead of throwing to first for the third out, he flips the ball to second base but no one is covering!
Runners goto second and third. The next guy hits a blooper that falls in and two runs score.

Zito is a big proponent of the armed forces,
he is extra pumped today, bad call fading him today.

Zito's pitched like dogshit. It should be 4-2 minimum, if not 4-3.

Thank god the offenses have seemed to slow up cuz i have the under 7.5. I think both oitchers have settled down now and have gotten loose. I dont thin thier will be any more runs scored in the game. I knew i would just have to worry about the 1st couple of innings.
I also have the Giants and i think they rool here. Zito has settled.
in and a 3 run lead is more than enuff at home for him.
SHIP IT!! On too the 7pm games now

Arizona was a playoff team last year but I still don't think they're that great.

They are trash. Cahill has been a very underwhelming acquisition.

Giants are manufacturing runs, d bags are
squandering opportunities, it's just that simple.
Zeets is locked in, we are done.

They've had plenty of chances. Now they might be toast.

I actually liked backing Cahill last year.
With that said, I think Oakland's pitching staff is constantly overrated. They have a ton of foul space there which leads to outs that would otherwise be foul balls in other stadiums.
Just look at pitchers like Zito and Mulder who were all-stars in Oakland and trash with other teams.
I also think people have forgotten that San Francisco won the World Series two years ago. I don't think the Giants are world beaters by any means but I love Bruce Bochy coached teams. That guy took the Padres to the World Series for crying out loud.
It's not a coincidence that the D'bags have as many hits as the Giants but the Giants have more runs. The Giants play good, solid baseball.

Why would you do that when the D'Bags have only scored one run off of Zito and the Giants have a good bullpen?
GL. It would be cool if we both won.

This Arizona team is unreal.
How many times can you squander a scoring chance in one game?

Meanwhile the Giants do things like moving runners and getting two out hits.

That wasn't a bad bet considering Zito was on the mound.

Relatively easy win today with Zy Zito on the mound.
