Honestly, I'd rather lose this play for obvious reasons.

But I do lean to Dodgers in Game 1, so call it a semi-hedge as I actually give the Dodgers a very good chance to win. If I was confident the Phillies would win this series, I would have just passed.

ill take phils at home anyday , with hammels, at only -130 vs lad lineup with 2 very important lefties in their top 5 of the order, and furcal, who hasnt hit a lefty in 5 months

It's a little easier to manipulate things when only 4 teams are left. I'm not talkin about any games before this years ALCS and NLCS i'm talkin about the biggest MLB storyline of the year which is Manny being traded to the dodgers.

Not saying these games will be fixed but you never know. look what happened with the NBA. It's obvious David Stern had his hand in the cookie jar more than once. He just happened to get away with it. It's all about the ratings and you never know but these games could be fixed.

Also how do we know the umps ain't betting these games or giving tips about the game to pro bettors. It's quite possible

I don't know about the mlb umps being good. Just look at that last game between the red sox and angels. The guy was tagged at third but the ball did pop out of the glove. Should of been safe.

How about the approval of instant replay in the MLB on boundry calls fair and foul. It was obvious the MLB was concerned with the umps making bad calls which they were.

Just because something happened in a way that seems like the perfect storyline, doesnt mean it resulted that way from the league. Manny Ramirez is fukkin great, and the Dodgers had a decent team before he showed up there. Not to mention Joe Torre as a manager. Who even said the dodgers will face the red sox?? And if they do, you really think the Cubs were forced to tank their series to get Manny there, AGAIN?

And EVEN IF (yea right) the league had anything to do with Manny defeating the cubs, dont you think that more games = more revenue. A sweep is the worst possible revenue scenario for any league.
