Opened at -115 and it's just sitting there. Gonzalez is probably the most underrated starter in baseball, and Kendrick is Kendrick. Is this a guillotine game for Nats backers?

I'm not that surprised by the opening number, but I am surprised it hasn't moved in 9 hours. Gio's a legitimate ace for a 24-17 team; Kendrick's a fill-in starter for a .500 ballclub missing its best hitters.

You guys overrate Gio. He's good but he's not elite or an ace or whatever. Just a good pitcher, a #2 maybe. He's overachieved this year and is due for some regression.

OK so Gio's maybe not a dominant No. 1 az, but he's still facing Kyle Kendrick.

Thats true, but I consider Philly's depleted lineup to be slightly better than Washington's current one. Gio's edge over Kendrick more than makes up for it but I think the line is pretty fair, I agree it should move a little to Nats favor

Should have by now as far as I'm concerned. The silence is deafening.

Sunday night here, early Monday in Europe and Asia. Probably a lot of people just getting ready for their work week or something. Not much action on any of the MLB games it seems so far. I wouldnt read anything into it

Dating back to last season Kyle Kendrick has allowed 3 ER or fewer in 12 of his last 13 starts. 3.32 ERA in that span. The problem being though, is that he usually doesn't work very deep into games, meaning you'll see the MLB's worst bullpen. I'm on Gio and the Nats but I think people are quick to dismiss KK when in all actuality he hasn't been as terrible as people think.
