Strong Play on Texas tonight ....with analysis

Weaver has been lights out since the start of the season, however, if you take a look deeply into his last 7 starts, he's been up against scrub hitting teams: MINN,CLEV,BALT,OAK,KC .....out of all those only BAL had decent bats.

While capping this game, I looked at the hitting report and many of the Rangers in the lineup today have seen lots of Weaver over the past few years(over 60+ AB for some ). Andrus & Torrealba hit Weaver pretty good. I dont think this many ab's bodes well for Weaver. Weaver may only slow them down for a few innings. But either he or the shaky Angels bullpen will give it up eventually.

Conversely, none of the starting lineups for the Angels tonight have more than 10 ab's vs Feliz and the ones with the most at bats (Kendrick & Callaspo) have a combined 2 hits in 20 at bats. Also , Feliz has been very solid at home this year posting a 1.13 ERA in Arlington........Best of Luck!!
