    Rays at WhiteSox
    Proposition bet
4.5 inning to go under 4.5 runs. (thegreek.com) I am not sure what the line is going to be on the over/under. I am thinking its going to be Under 4.5 runs (-125) and over 4.5 runs (+105) .

The rays have never faced Floyd. Floyd has pitched better in the first 5 innings of his starts. Sonnastine pitched a 4 hit shutout against the whitesox earlier in the season and has an era of 2.96 against the whitesox. Sonnanstine also pitches better in the first 5 innings of his starts.

This game is going is to be a twilight afternoon game since the angels won and forced a game 4 tommorrow night. If it is a twilight game, hitters will have a more difficult time. I also do not think the baseball carries that well in chicago in OCtober. I see this game staying under 8.5 runs for the full 9 innings. I rather take the under at 4.5 innings. A 4-4 tie will make you lose. I trust the starters to keep this game under 4.5 runs thru 4.5 innings. The bullpens of both teams may surrender some runs in this game.

I took the under between Garza and Danks, and the score was 4-1 through 5 as Garza had one rough inning. The game stayed under 8.5. I like the FF under between Sonnastine and Floyd as well as for the game. I have a lean towards the White Sox, as home teams have a distinctive edge in this series. What do you like for a side?

Picking a side is tough. This game may be decided by the bullpens as both starters will be effective. I am afraid to take the under 8.5 runs because I do not trust the bullpen to keep this game under 8.5 runs.

The weather in chicago for tommorrow's game. Tommorrow night- partly cloudy, low 61, winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph. With the cool weather and winds, ball is not going to carry that well. The starting pitchers will have an advantage as this game moves from late afternoon to night (no lights to lights). Hitters will have to make adjustments as this games moves from daylight to night lights.

I think the value here lies with Tampa Bay +115 on the straight side. They are definitely the better all-around team, and as you mentioned, Sonanastine has owned the White Sox. Also, if both teams struggle in the twolight and this becomes a battle of the pens, the Rays have a big edge there too.
