the dodgers are my play for saturday. Kuroda is sick at home. And he has dominated the cubs before. While Harden is good, he is a 5 inning pitcher. Even if it is close, Cubs bullpen will blow it.

I got the LAD series price at +165 so as much as I like the dodgers, I might put a small play on the cubs this game as I have a built in hedge with that series bet...and I just gotta think with their backs against the wall, the cubbies gotta at least try to eek out one win.

Harden has wicked wicked stuff, when he is on... plus he is effectively wild...hard to sit on anything he throws..... and almost no one the dodgers has seen him EVER. which I think is a key to success in the NL, if you haven't seen him...hitting him that first time around is tough, he's got crazy movement unlike many pitchers.

on the negative side... manny has 3 hr's in 11 career at bats against harden, including one earlier this year.

I really don't wanna live in Chicago this offseason if they get swept 3-0, i'll be driven sick by all the crying..not to mention sox fans.

You won't find a much bigger Cubs fan than me, but I've been all over the Dodgers the first two games and I have no reason to think that the Cubs are going to go into Chavez Ravine and experience anything different than they did in Games 1-2. You may not see 8 walks or 4 errors again, but their bats are cold and the cloud hanging over their head isn't going to help. Kuroda is solid at home. Harden is exceptional, no question. But the Cubs very seldom gave him any run support this year, and I don't think that changes tonight.

I got LAD this morning at +121, but I'll bet it starts to climb back up a little before before the first pitch.

they were remarkebly consistent all year long, not too many 3 game losing streaks all year.... I know this is on the road... but the bats gotta wake up tonight... harden is gonna go 5 2/3 striking out 10 and walking 7 but only giving up 3 hits... and the pen will barely hold on.
