+130 now from a +100 opener? With Felix pitching? I don't get this at all. I'd say the line was correct at open, but why it is where it is now I'm not quite understanding.

Seattle did lose the last couple games to Toronto but I believe they been competitive in both. Just stunk it up in the late innings.

I think everyone should just do their usual, and just wait for Felix to be -200. Which equates to free money.

                  4-6 last 10 isn't really on a tear.

People are under the impression that because they swept the Tigers and their AAA pitching they are hot. Just ask ESPN

I would say 4 out of 6 so far on this road trip isn't too shabby.

Felix has a pretty good track record against them though.

Both pitchers have been excellent to start the season. Hellickson is actually 3-0 lifetime with a 0.81 ERA against the Mariners.

this seems like an incredibly square statement.

Why does his track record vs a certain team matter? The sample size is probably something like 5 or 6 games and I just find it hard to believe there is any type of correlation in regards to an individuals past success vs a certain team is in someway predictive of his future success vs a certain team. I may be way off here, but I don't see it.

It was just a reaction to JMU's post about Tampa being good vs. righties. They're No. 2 in the league vs. lefties, so they can't be that good vs. RHP.

Felix's track record vs. Tampa means very little tonight, but what track record he does have he's fared well. As small as the sample size is, it does have some bearing -- that's why scouting reports are kept, notes on tendencies, etc. Felix has faced Tampa nine times in his career, and is 3-2 with a 2.42 ERA with only 51 hits allowed in 67 IP.

The fact that, as a team, Tampa Bay has a sub .500 OPS against King Felix does matter. Not sure who thinks it doesn't matter.

No one on Tampa Bay gets extra base hits against King Felix... extra base hits = runs.

How about the fact that the umpires fuked them all game... They called a runner out at the plate that was clearly safe and Upton hit a double early in the game that was clearly foul, but the ump ruled fair. That led to 2 runs.

I dropped $500 on this debacle. Bottom line is, Seattle shouldn't be wagered on under any circumstances. Lesson learned AGAIN

They can't hit, simple as that!
