hey I got a question for you. I would've been giving this alot of thought. Would it be better to play these props as singles instead of parlays?

For example on a 2 player each-200 odds parlay lets say your betting $50 You are betting 50 to profit 62.5. If both win you profit 62.5 If either 1 loses you lose 50

If you bet them single and both win you profit 50. If 1 wins and 1 loses you lose 25 while you lose 100 if both lose.

The main difference between the two is you profit an extra 12.5 on the parlay however you lose only half the amount if you split. So knowing these numbers is it better to play these as singles or parlay them? If odds are -210 or higher than of course its better to parlay as their is no value in playing these as singles.

I will get back into playing these props starting Friday and would like some advice.

I personally have been playing all of the parlays in this thread as straight bets, and I do believe that's the better way to do it. But I understand why someone would shy away from -205 juice plays.

easy, I really did not think about this. If you check throughout this thread, I did not play parlay at the beginning. One of the main reasons that I started playing parlays, is that 5dimes charges high prices for these props. And I don't want people that follow this thread, to play props at -200 or higher. Also, I think that it's not a bad idea to put props that I don't feel confident, into a parlay. I like your reasoning for playing -200 props, I'll try to use this method in the future.

Yeah, you're right, so the bet will be NO Action. Sometimes, when I place bets, lineups are not up, so I just assume a player will start.

unless a line is heavily juiced (over -200 )it makes more sense play these as singles instead of parlays as you were doing when you first started. I will get back into betting these again on Friday and will give myself a couple more days to think it over.

Also if you like a -220 line and their isn't another heavily juiced line you wanna bet it with 5dimes offers open bets so you can add the 2nd bet at a later time. I use open bets in soccer and they are very convenient.

I like CWS D.Wise no RBI -195, he'll lead-off. I expect this to up to around -220. I like the R. Roberts one, he'll bat 8th which is really favorable for no scoring run. I don't like Chipper Jones one because he hits well against Halladay (10 of 19, .526).

yea it happens went 1-1 for the day slowly gonna get back into it. seems like its not always a good idea to take guys leading off in the AL. In the NL it is definitely an automatic bet however in the AL without the pitcher their chances for an RBI seem much higher.

If you can play open parlay, put the WAS K.Suzuki no RBI -225 prop in it. I play straight up 1 u on this prop, but don't want anyone play this prop alone because of high price.

Right, I agree that Rollins has been hot, but the price is good and against Cueto, so I play this prop. I like the Kipnis one.

Yeah, football season and baseball season is near the end, so you probably won't see many options. I'm not sure about Heyward, but you never know. I like Kurt Suzuki again, no matter who he will face.
