Toronto (Hutchison) @ Baltimore (Matusz) TOTAL Thoughts
Matusz has already faced Toronto this season allowing 5 earned runs on 7 hits in 5.2 innings, striking out and walking 4 a piece. Last season Matusz was subpar, to put it kindly, for the Orioles going 1-9 with a 10.69 ERA in 10 starts. This year he has not looked much better. Matusz is 0-3 sporting a 7.98 ERA, 2.25 WHIP, and .349 BAA.

Hutchison will be making just his 2nd major league start tonight. In his first start he got a W in Kansas City despite giving up 8 hits and 5 earned runs in 5.1 innings. He struck out 4 and walked 3.

In addition to the pitching match-up, the over in Blue Jays games so far in 2012 is 10-7-1 with most of the totals set pretty high. The over is 8-3 in Matusz last 11 starts and 4-1 in his last 5 home starts. The over is also 8-3-1 in the last 12 meetings between these teams, although it is 0-2 between the two in 2012.

There has been some movement on the under, moving the line from 9.5 to 9. I am thinking of making a decent sized bet on the over. What do you all think?

Public pounding on the OVER and yet the line moved down to 9....

Sharp money on the UNDER in this game, bud. Bet how you want but thats what I see not even going into stats.

I am well aware of this. I meant to point this out in the OP where I mentioned that the line has gone from 9.5 to 9. I forgot to point out that the majority of bets were on the over. This is one of the only things keeping me from making a good size (as opposed to normal) bet on the over, as I see a good bit of value here. Best of luck whatever you decide, bud. Are you on the under?

I like the Blue Jays bats to wake up and avoid the sweep here.

Haven't decided yet. I swept all my bets from today's games. I wanna just call it a day kind of like walking away from the craps table while you still got money in your rack LOL

If I bet anything it would be small.

If you want the over take it now while it's at 9 though.

Definitely the over... I think 9 runs will be scored by the 5th. I don't buy arguments about the "public"... These are 2 horrid, end of rotation pitchers.

I am new here and just saw your thread. A few tough beats yesterday, I had one on the Dodgers as well, but congrats on a solid start. Can you elaborate on any info you have on this?

Thes 2 scrub pitchers and no runs yet?

                            The over is toast.
