Are these cats really good enough to justify these lines? Not much to go on; both are very, very early into what look to be promising careers. With that being said, given their lack of experience starting on the road and just plain starting in general, aren't these prices over-inflated?

Man, I don't know. Just seems like it's asking for trouble -- especially with day baseball.

I don't know a lot about this Parker kid, but sounds like he's going to be a pretty good one. Volstad is Volstad, but the Cards are so banged up right now.

Sale will face the A's, so why shouldn't he be -140?

While we're at it, Jordan Zimmermann -135 on the road? Washington never hits when this guy pitches.

Isn't the cards line inflated due to the avoid the sweep angle?

If your worried about paying the juice why not just play the -1 line.
In a lot of games playing the -1 is the way to go. I would MUCH rather push on a 1 run game than lose on a -190 line.
